If you had Flash before, and your system is telling you it isn't there, it was buggered up by a Microsoft update. You need to run an uninstall utility first. If you don't run it, you can do an install 100 times and it will not work. Note, if you have Opera on your system, this will take Flash out of it as well. The reinstall is the same process

Reboot your system, open IE, then download and reinstall Flash.
