I just met this girl about 2 months ago and we have spoken a few times. The first time we spoke for about 15 minutes and the second was for about an hour and a half. I liked her for who she was and was think of asking her out but didn't really know how. (We're both around 17 years old) So, I went up to her one day after she told me she had a bad week, and gave her my cell phone number and told her if she ever needed any help or just wanted someone to talk to , to call me. But, now when I see her she kind of ignores me and we really don't talk. (We see each other around like once a week but don't talk to each other) What should I do to get her to recongnize me?

By offering her help after a bad week you come off as a friend rather than someone who is interested in dating her. Maybe she likes you but thinks you only see her as a friend. I would suggest calling her and asking her out on a date. Good luck and remember - even if she's not interested, it will flatter her that you're interested in her, and that's not such a bad thing.

To get her attention, start dating another girl.

The more healthy, less Machiavellian option is to try talking to her again. Many love affairs have been destroyed through cowardice. You will never know if you don't try. She may be aching for you to talk to her. But also be prepared for the possibility that she might reject you -- but if she does, you can at least stop wondering. And you can tell yourself you gave it your best shot, which is all anyone can do in these matters.

have patience. Did it occur to you that you may have come on a little strong? It's cool though we all can make that mistake every now and then. The best thing to do is wait it out a little while. The next time you see her say hi and see her reaction.

Don`t want to hurt your feelings, but you gave her your phone number, she didn`t call, and now she is ignoring you. She knows you are interested, but she is not. Just leave it alone and do not keep on trying to talk to her. She may think you are getting weird. Keep looking for that special girl. Good Luck.

Call her. Ask her out to see a movie. Either as a friend or as a date. Be nice and kind. Women go through their "moods" and she might not know she's ignoring you.

telling her that your there for her, when she wants to talk may have given her the idea that you WANT to be put in the froend zone. just tell her how you fell, she might like you. and since your 17, i'm guessing your a senior, if things don't go so hot, your leaving next year anyway, so who cares, live a little when you have nothing to lose.

she is not even worth your time then. you were there for her when she needed you and had a "bad week" and now shes acting like a total snob? she needs to stop thinking that for a moment of her life she is better then others, and you need to get yourself an amazing new girl...your prob an AWSOME guy.
