People who believe that you have to believe that God is real and say that you cant disprove Him is because they have taken on faith for themselves. What I mean is that yes we cannot see God but we believe that He exists because of some evidences. Like for example the most obvious one would be creation. Nature and the trees and the animals. All that has design and has to have a designer. You cant have design without a Designer. You see what I am saying? Read the Bible and start from the book of John. If you want to find out about the creation then start in Genesis.

If people believe in God because his existence can not be disproved then they are believing for the wrong reason. I can say that I believe that there is a parallel universe because it cannot be disproved. I can say that I believe in time travel or black holes or anything that can't be proven but this dosn't make sense. One needs faith to believe in God, love, hate, trust, anything like that. Some people believe that love exists but God dosn't even though you can't scientifically prove that either exist.

Why is it that you can not prove god exists that people believe he is not real? The question goes both ways. Whether or not diety exists or in what form or manner is not really important. What is important is how that "faith" or lack of faith affects the way you live and treat others. I have known many good people who confess to be athiests or agnostics and many bad people who profess to believe in god, in some form or another. Live your life the way you know in your deepest heart you should live it and find out the answer as to whether or not god exists wait until you die.

I suppose you have not thought or even considered the possibility that it could be the other way around that just because you cannot prove that God does exist that he is not real, there are a lot of people tking that attitude too

For me I know God is real because I have felt him in my life. I have seen his miracles at the birth of my babies. I have seen him in people's lives that were messed up and found him. I have known him through miracles in my own life. I wonder how someone could say there is NO God when they wake up and see the sun..or look into their childrens eyes. For me the proof is all around..

Faith is the the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. You cant see gravity. But it is real. "Blessed are those who do not see,but yet believe". You can tell on the inside of you. Even creation points to the Creator. The bang theory?

Because He answers our prayers. Because He heals our bodies. Because He restores our families. Because He blesses us financially. Because He proves Himself to the believers over and over and over again. All it takes is a tiny bit of faith.
