I just love the Mountain breeds in general, Bernese and Leonbergers in particular. The person who answered saying that "mutts" have better temperamnets than pure breeds, clearly hasn't had a lot to do with pure bred dogs. Many breeds are specifiaclly bred for a particular temperament or certain tasks. This why Labradors make such good "blind" dogs, Beagles make such good drug detection dogs, Border Collies such good sheep herding dogs, etc. I am not saying that a cross bred dog is not capable of such work, just that you can't guarantee it whereas 9 times out of 10, a pure bred dog will display the temperament for which it was bred.

Miniture Pincher and Yorkies I have a Min Pin and would love to have a Yorkie but can afford one cause they are so high priced,, love Jack Russells too I just love the small hyper type dogs with alot of energy and bouncy almost like tigger on Whinnie the Pooh LOL

My favorite dog is my Bichonpoo. She is 4 months old and very cute (see photo at left). Her name is Esperanza she is very smart and easily trainable. Esperanza gets along with everyone and all other animals. She is very mellow and lovable. She is a great all around dog.

I love a good mutt. I would love to give a sad little puppy in the pound a great life.
Plus, with mutts, you don't have to deal with the imbreeding and results of it.
Mutts are generally easy tempered and less aggressive.

Golden Retrievers - intelligent, gentle, faithful and good looking (generally don't smell as bad as most dogs can when wet).

I love the german breeds:
Doberman Pinschers and German Shepherds. They are just such powerful animals, so elegant and intimidating. They can be ferocious and loyal all at once, and they just look so great and strong.

Love Huskys and Husky mixes. hate pits, and chihuahuas.
Any mutt is great, save a dying dog!!
