Why do u want to get rid of her!! Shelters really don't have enough room. IF you did buy one from the pet store you can't just buy one from a pet store without realizing it was a life time comittment you were getting your self into=( , she is a kitten now though so don't drop her off at the side of the road, she will never get a home like that, without humans in her younge life she will be a shy, scared frightened adult and when she eventually get's captured and brought to the shelter no one will adopt her because she is not so cute anymore and agressive and shy towards humans. And if she does'nt get captured she will die, she has never lived ouside most likely and won't even know wat to eat, she might even get run over!!!You really need to sell her soon if you want to sell her, but plez don't just kill her=( Put an add in the paper or ask if you can put some flyers up in a pet store or shelter, they sometimes let flyers be put up, see if any of your friends/family can have someone they know adopt it.
I hope i kinda helped=D

OK, I'm going to join the chorus. It is actually against the law to "drop off a cat" in most places. Have you ever heard of the charge of animal neglect or cruelty? Cats who are brought up in houses do not have the skills to survive out there on their own. They have not learned to hunt efficiently and their fate is usually cruel. That's exactly how people like me end up with 10 cats, that cost us a boatload of money to fix from the damage they get after they are dumped.
Your local animal shelter will take the cat. They will ask for a donation, but I don't think any would make it mandatory under the circumstances. It would probably stand a better chance of surviving at an animal shelter that euthanizes, than it would if you put it out somewhere.
Seriously, why do you want to get rid of the cat? Second, where do you live? As in what region of what State? Knowing the particulars would be a great help in figuring this one out. Please don't throw it out on the streets.

You could try and contact the local pet shelter or you can post an ad in the local newspaper to find a new home for the kitten.
Most likely you will find someone...christmas is coming.
Also you could check for local websites...maybe schools or the city fire dept. will have a local site where you can post an ad for free.

Well, email me. Where abouts do you live? (Yeah, I know I have really stupid questions on my account, but Im just a fun person who LOVES animals.) There are many rescue groups in your area.
Go to www.petfinders.com
There, put your zipcode and you'll find all the animal groups in your area, most of them are nokill shelters. I hope this helps.

take the kitten to your local humane society, the number is in the phone book.
It would be very irresponsible and cruel to drop her off along side of the road, and might even be a criminal offense

Put an ad on Craig's List in your area; you might also consider contacting no-kill shelters in your area. Good luck.

why do you want to get rid of your kitten any way's?
Here's a suggestion. Why don't you take your kittie to a pet shelter. They will take good care of your kittie until someone else decides to buy her.

Please, take her to the Humane Society. Don't just dump her someplace!
We just found a kitten that somebody had dumped on our property the other day. She is so beautiful and sweet... I can't believe that somebody just wanted to leave her to die.
Don't do that to your cat. Give her the care that she deserves.
