It is a great thing to have! It's free, easy, and fast. But, rarely you can get viruses and people can get into some of your music files. But, overall, it's definitely a great thing to have.

My computer go a virus in it cause of limewire ppl go in to your computer and they find out who you are and get info about you possibly get your SSN# bank account # they love you if your shareing files it has viruses in that site i know i had it from that site about 3 months ago i had to get a new comp cause mine couldn't be fixed cause of limewire it has also a VERY BIG BUG IN THAT SITE and i have scaned it after i got the virus and then i couldn't get back on my comp after going in that site but b4 i went in that site my comp was fine. so if you want to go in to that site go right ahead GOOD LUCK>>>> BAD VIRUSES REMEMBER THAT.

Yes, its good for downloading music and videos. If you want software then use emule. Stay away from software downloads as most contain viruses.

Yes however everything that you DL do a virus scan. A lot of apps have viruses behind them so do not DL apps.
