I think it stinks. They protest at the funerals of those who ensure their right to protest.

I understand they finance their protests by suing everyone who assaults them.

I firmly believe they will get their due reward someday.

I was living in Amarillo TX when the protesters was going to be at a funeral in nearby Dimmett TX. As it turned out I was to be doing business in that town. I changed my plans and spent the day working in New Mexico, as far away as I could get.

I would have hated for my gun to go off as I was cleaning it or my foot to slip off of the accelerator, thus ending the "protesters" reign on the planet.

I spoke with local, state and county law enforcement, they told me the y would be out of town when these low lifes would be in town, just so nothing would happen; wink wink.

I salute the bikers who provided protection during these dirtbags protests, they have the patience to keep their head during this event. I must admit I do not, they are better men than me.

It sucks and it just really shows how much appreciation this world has gone to. None what so ever. You're unit was lucky to have only one. And for that you're blessed. but people here back at home don't understand what its like. And I guss they don't have their own kids or family over there to know what its like to have someone they love killed in war. Neverthe less they should be ashamed of themselves because they are protesting against life. A second chance on life. Even if they don't support the war, it doesn't give them the right to protest at someones funeral. Especially a soldier who served honorably and died for his nation. That just shows absolutely no respect. My friend was killed almost a year ago, and at his funeral protestors were Everywhere. And honestly we can't do anything. They just don't understand how much it means to us, and how much thousands of soldiers give up to protect them.

If you don't support te war, go after the government...not the soldiers who died protecting you....don't you agree?

A soldiers funeral is not the appropriate environment to protest against a war.

No matter what your opinions are. A funeral is
not the correct place to voice them. Even if you
have the right to do so. Protesting at a funeral is
disrespectful.

The protesters were probably those twisted f**ks from Westboro Baptist church that picket at military funerals because they think that any tragedy is caused by homosexuals....er....something like that. I know--it doesn't make any sense.
And btw, "Blue Steele," the ACLU tries to protect freedom of speech. Without advocates taking a principled stand in defense of even unpopular views, you wouldn't be able to post your silly answers on this website.

Because they are worthless scum suckers who don't realize that the reason they have the freedom to be ignorant is because of the person they are protesting at their funeral. Also because they don't realize that if they were in another country without the freedoms Americans enjoy because of the military they would be killed or beaten for being the worthless s.o.b that they are.

I think that people who protest at military funerals should be shot. I think it is treasonous to protest at the funeral of a HERO.
I also think that anyone (like the ACLU) who seeks to allow these treasonous punks to continue to protest at military funerals should be shot.

It's disgusting, and if I had been at that funeral, I would be in jail right now.
