Genesis 1:20-23 tells us that great sea creatures and flying birds were created on the 5th day of creation so that would include aquatic dinosaurs and if flying reptiles were not created on this day then they would be on the next day. The rest of Genesis chapt 1 tells us that beasts and creeping things as well as man, male and female, were created on the 6th day so that would include land dinosaurs and Adam and Eve being created on the same 6th day.

The word "dinosaur" means terrible lizard but it was not used as an English world till 1840 almost 2,000 years after the Old and New Testaments had been written in the Biblical languages of Hebrew and Aramaic (O.T.) and Greek (N.T.). The second oldest book of the Bible, besides the first 11 chapters of Genesis, is the book of Job. Chapters 40 and 41 of Job mention great creatures named the "behemoth" and "Leviathan" which fit descriptions of dinosaurs. Behemoth is described as being so great that only God could kill him (use the sword) and Leviathan also could not be killed with sword or spear. We also have to remember that the average size of a dinosaur was no bigger than a man so the very large ones were actually a minority in numbers.

Adam, then the dinosaurs, then Eve. God created Adam then ALL creatures of the land, air and sea. Then He saw man needed a help-mate and created Eve.

Dinosaurs WERE mentioned in the bible as behmoths and there were creatures mentioned with tails like tree trunks. There were creatures of the air with large wingspans made of leather. They don't use the term 'dinosaur' bc that word didn't even exist until years after the first translation of the Holy Bible.

If you want an EXCELLENT explaination of dinosaurs and how the existed and mentioned in the bible, check out Ken Hamm's Answers in Genesis collection. Great stuff!

Adam and Eve are the first couple; the term "dinosaur" was coined only in 1841. But there were behemoths, leviathans, and tanniyn.

Genesis 1:20-25 -- day 5 -- including dinosaurs

Genesis 1:26-27 -- day 6 -- Adam and Eve

Yes, of course, I know the "scientists" have definitively determined the age of the dinosaur fossils!! Their ages are determined by the age of the rocks in which they are found.

So, how do they determine the age of those rocks? Well, that is quite simple ... the age of those rocks are determined by the age of the fossils in them.

I would say that the dinosaurs came first and were destroyed before as we have no mention of this in the Bible

Dinosaurs, obviously.

As for why they weren't mentioned in the Bible; I'm just guessing really, but I doubt that the ancient Hebrews who first recorded the ancient tales that would later become what we know of as "Genesis" were not aware that dinosaurs had once existed.

Dinosaurs are mentioned in the Bible in a round about way, take for instance the lavaithan, what was that? I believe that dinosuars came first because God created man last.

The dinosaurs, I don't know, but it does describe satan in the Bible as being a serpant and it does talk about these things, I forget what they were called, but a lot of christians think that they were giants, but I think they could have been dinosaurs. It talks about it where david slayed Goliath.

The dinosaurs existed at the same time as early man and were domesticated to perform many tasks for man.

Adam and Eve came first, I guess. The Bible doesn't really say - it just says that God created all the creatures of the land and sea.

Of course, it helps to know that I believe that God made the world in 6 days, put Adam and Eve in the garden and they stayed there for millions of years while evolution happened all around them.

The last dinosaurs on this planet die some 65 millions of year ago.
The first humans, like us, came from Africa some 2.5 millions of years ago.
Unless you believe in the Bible literally.
Is your choice.
