Ever since the winter has gotten here my lips have become extremely chapped and I was wondering if there was anything that I could do or anything that I could put on them that would make them better? I don't lick my lips and I've tried Carmax, Vaseline and Chap Stick.

I've tried lip gloss and it just makes it worsier. I've tried brushing my lips and it just made them bleed and real sore. I want something that won't dry my lips out more than before I put the product on.

You need to know that products made for chapped lips make your lips dependent upon their use. It is better to never use those products. If anything, put some Vaseline into a small container and keep it handy to use. Also drink a lot of water to keep yourself hydrated. That should help.

When you wake up, brush your lips lightly with your toothbrush after you've brushed your teeth to clear lose skin and improve circulation. If you can bear to have olive oil on your lips, smear some and keep it on for 10 mins before you shower. For the rest of the day wear a natural lipcolor that has jojoba oil or cocoa butter as the base.

I had chapped lips too and really recommend Burts Bees Beeswax Lipbalm. It goes on really light but feels great...it also has peppermint oil for a nice tingle!
Hope that helps!

Drink plenty of water, and try Soft Lips. It's the ONLY product I use for my lips... in fact, my lips get irritated if I use anything other than that one brand. Weird, huh?

some people just stop having chapped lips when they stop trying to put all sorts of stuff on their lips. stop using the stuff on your lips and maybe soon the chap will go away. but give it some time though it is not an overnight thing
