I would find someone younger then him, more around your age. Three years doesn't seem like that much of a difference, but in mind-sets it is.. he thinks way different then you do, and no matter how much he says he doesn't want to do any of those sexual things, it doesn't mean he doesn't think about it.

and, anyway, if you did go out with him he's graduating before you and your parents probably wouldn't trust you/him enough to let you go anywhere with him. It'd be better if you found someone younger.

But, don't let my words tell you how to live your life, go with your heart.

I say go with someone your own age.

While 3 years isnt that big of a deal the difference between a 14 year old and a 17 year old is a big deal.

I think you would be better to find someone your own age.

Good for you, sex can wait! Just think about having a baby at 14.

Later for boys it takes too much time and energy to figure out wether they are sincere or not. You are at school to get an education always keep the focus on that and not boys i know its hard i have been there before but trust me you will be glad you put all your energy into education instead of some boy. He is too old for you anyway, what could he possibly want with soneone your age besides sex.

Why is it an issue? The two of you can begin dating within group settings and go to public events when your on solo dates to begin with so that you can "feel out" his intentions. Being sexual or not is totally up to you. Dating older guys doesn't mean you have to be sexual. Just be who you are. If he can't handle that he isn't worth it.

in most states, when he turns 18, he will be committing a crime if anything happens between the 2 of you. and if a 17 year old male tells you he isn't after sex, he's full of sh*t!!

First off, this guy has to be really careful, because if your parents dont approve he could be legally charged with statuatory rape. Whether you consent or not. If your parents approve I would take him at his word. :You know how to say no. Good luck.

Here's the easy way out. Look!

Keep him, believe him, and then...
Get rid of him if he ever proposes sex.
