Jesus began his ministry at the age of 30 according to Luke 3:23. We know from the Gospel of John that His ministry extended through at least 3 Passovers (a yearly feast of the Jews) being mentioned in John 2:23; 6:4 and 13:1. Therefore we conclude He was at least 33 years of age when He died.

Jesus was born between 6 and 4 BC, and most likely was crucified in the Spring of 29 AD.
The Anno Domini system was developed by a monk named Dionysius Exiguus (born in Scythia Minor) in Rome in 525, as an outcome of his work on calculating the date of Easter, but it's been shown that he missed it by at least 4 years.
Case in point: Herod the Great died in 4 BC. He was the King of Judea who tried to kill the baby Jesus in Bethlehem because of what he had learned from the Magi. He killed all the male babies 2 years old and younger, based on the time the Magi told him they had seen the star. So, Herod died after the birth of Jesus, and so Jesus could have easily been born in 6 BC.
It is safe to say that Jesus died on the cross for our sins during his mid-thirties.

He is said to have been between the age of 33, and 33 1/2 years old. Some scollars place it at the age 27. Figures vary. Know one really knows for sure.
