Ya, actually God blamed the first perfect MAN for the screw up.
God did not hold Eve AS guilty, because according to the Bible story, She came second so she did not have the right to be BOSS, Adam should not have listened to her and...SHE was the second one created, so she was not as experienced Adam.
Well Adam was the Boss and the Buck stops here!
So First perfect MAN sinned and sin came into the world through HIM.
It took an equally PERFECT MAN to give an equal Ransom sacrifice to undo the damage.
HAD to be a Perfect Man!
No women, children,sheep, golden calves,Paris Hilton etc!
Equal MAN FOR MAN

And, sure, pretty much every culture liked to sacrifice women virgins because women in general are treated like crap.

Well before the arrival of christianity.The druids,incas,egyptians ancient rome.All cultures demanded that a sacrafice to the gods had to be a young virgin,who had only recently reached puberty
