School wants us to take depression screening tests?

I just know that I'll fail mine, because every other test I've taken has said I have severe depression, and I'm a little scared because I'm not sure where these results go. I mean, does the school get them, do my parents get them?

I just want to know if anyone here knows what happens after the results are back.

Virginia. They sent a letter, something about stuff being unrecognized depression, and they want us to take suicide prevention classes too.

I've never heard of schools taking tests for depression and I'm a mother. Where do you live?

They need to start having Depression tests in schools all over the United States.

If your depressed, people need to know and they need to find out why and everything they can do.

This is a subject that many americans dont know how to handle. When we don't know how to deal with something, we turn around and do what our parents did to us and that sometimes isn't always right. Ignoring this isn't the answer, i know that.

take the test to make shure you are depressed then tell your parents. they will help you get help I have been depressed for about 10 years now I am taking meds and seeing a psy. if I wouldent of I would not be here today.

you should be glad. my school doesn't care about kids with depression. only kids with fighting and anger problems... if you fail, they will probably get you help
