(Weird question: Would you rather go efore your loved ones or after. I think I am a bit selfish, God forgive me, but I think is painful to see somene you love pass away, so you can guess my choice)

Respectfullly,
Muslimah

It doesn't scare me at all.

It is the natural end to things.

I will be sad to leave my children behind, but not afraid.

I want to die before my beloved, because I don't want to live without him. (Sorry, that sounds melodramatic but it is true.)

I use to get scared at the thought of dying but that went away few months back when my brother passed away. My new worry became whether my brothers soul is resting in peace or not. I would pray day and night to God to give him a place in heaven! But as I started to think more and more I realized my brother had a deep faith in God and he thanked him for everything and never complained even though his life was full of medical problems. Now the only thing that scares me is the thought of going astray from my religion and not being able to face God!

Being dead doesn't scare me, but dying does - mainly because we don't really know if it's painful or not and I'm a fraidy cat when it comes to pain lol.

I wonder if you realize that when you get to Heaven, those you've left behind are already there! Think about it, if God/Allah is not confined by time and space like we are, then tomorrow has already happened and yesterday is today, blah blah blah. So the expanse of another 50 years until your loved ones get to Heaven is as a minute to God/Allah, right?

Sort of a neat thought eh?

Yes and no.
While I would love to leave this world behind,I still live for those who love me,and I have a burning desire to make some sort of difference in this world/ be something before I die.
As for before or after the loved ones,I can't choose.Bonds have been made,so the suffering would be great on each side. Both sides would hurt without the other.

Abstractly, the thought of dying does not scare me. Also, given time to get used to the idea, I don't think I would be scared. From experience, however, I know that in the two situations where I actually felt I was facing death, I was scared. So overall, I'm not sure. My religion (Catholicism) comforts me when thinking on death. For me, death is filled with love and life. Not so bad.

Nope: not scared of dying, not to be confused with the desire to remain living and reproduce built in to every living creature.

why? Fear is the mind killer ....and a waste of time

I am not religious therefor have no need to fear. Religion (a human creation) is the root cause of many peoples fears, wars, violence, etc. there is no need for it. Thinking of life in purely mechanical terms (biology is mechanical down to the very smallest pieces) leaves no need for religion or fear of dying.

I would rather go first for purely selfish reasons but again i accept what happens with out fear.

I am not afraid of dying. But, I am afraid of dying a slow, painful death. That would be the way my luck would have it. I just want to go quickly. But, I am sure I will be here until the Lord comes back to earth and that would be because I want to get off of this earth so bad, but I will not kill myself to make it happen.

I'm scared of dying because I don't know what's exactly gonna happen to me after death. The uncertainty of afterlife that worries me.
And I would rather go first than a loved one. Cannot live this life without them. ;(

I'm not afraid of death. But we are not 100% sure that we will go to Heaven, but we know that God will take care of us.
I would rather go before my loved ones. Look at Jesus, He died at 33 years old. I just couldn't be able to stand the sight.
