After a shower my hair is always reaally poofy. Anyone know of any good stuff you could use on your hair to make it lie down flat?
(but not with that gross greasy look)

Your hair is getting poufy from the humidity in the shower. Maybe your hair retains too much water. Mine was like that and I used PPT by redken. Once a week you spray it on, and rinse off after a few minutes. It stops your hair from retaining so much moisture.

Also you can use a shower cap. If your hair is styled already and you dont want to mess it up try using one that is big and loose. You can buy them at sallys for about $3.

The best way to make it lay back down is to use a flat iron when you get out of the shower. You can spray your hair with a silicone protectant to guard against the heat, or just flat iron it and go. Probably you don't want to use any products because they may just trap moisture in your hair.

If its poufy after washing, try using conditioner.

That depends on your type of hair If you have more african american hair then its alot of different products but if its more caucasian then moouse with 9 times out of 10 do the trick for you. Some people put it on before they wash or wet their hair so when it dries, its not so poofy. You can also just flat iron it after you wet it, that works for any type of hair, just don't do it everyday.

Try John Frieda's Downplay - this is the only thing that I have ever found that works for me.
