I know Thanksgiving holiday travel is madness.. and I'm hoping that it will have died out by Monday. Has anyone traveled the Tuesday following thanksgiving? Let me know how it went..

We still have booked flights until Wednesday. Anytime between Wed. and Dec. 14 are good traveling days. After the 14, it starts getting very expensive. Forget traveling on Jan. 1 or 2nd. Quite a few flights are already sold out.

Actually last year I traveled right after Thanksgiving on the Saturday after and came home on the Tuesday after. The Saturday was extremely busy and I can only imagine how horrible the Sunday after was but by the time Tuesday came around the airports seemed fairly normal. It is still the holiday season so there should be some more traffic but it should not be madness by any means. Tuesday is also one of the lighter travel days of the week so I think you'll be fine. Have a good trip!

That will probably be the best (least busy) travel day. I'm traveling Monday and I'm hoping the rush will be over by then. Have a great trip!
