Religion have always been an important pillar in most of the cultural systems of different civilizations along the humanity lifetime, some of them believed in several gods, others believed in one god.

But it could be driven by one's mind to question himself about why he needs god, what around us could prove god to exist and be true or not.

I have found this answer in several ways, I was fond of astrology when I was in the high school, I learnt at the very beginning that the motion of most objects in the universe is so intellectual more than any other clock, so its easy to figure out that things didn't just come out of a big boom, it must have had an organizer, also if one carefully studied the wonders of medicine of the human body, animals, plants, and even micro livings, they are so complicated that they could never go by Darwin’s theory because its random, as a simple scientist once said : "If Darwin’s theory is right, could you tell me how many years does a monkey need to write a poem or a novel of Shakespeare if it sits on a keyboard and start hitting buttons randomly?" the point is that every thing around us and inside us is very complicated, and mother nature must have a maker, so I believe this is where god exist, because everything is almost about to yell saying that its beauty and wonder ness is a proof of a great creator.

Not only this, but according to the cultural view, or the plain logic and philosophy, pagans themselves are a proof of god, how so? because knowing god or denying him is a choice, evil and good is a choice, this is why god made his master piece of creation , this is our human brain , because its the only thing that god created and it has the choice to admit or deny him.

I am so grateful that I have been guided to all that, I hope you see what I see someday.

NO!!! The fact that you ask means you do not believe. So, do youself a favor and be true to your beliefs. Don't let all of these people "guilt" you into having "faith." You don't have to belive in "god' to be moral. Do not give credit for you accomplishments to "god." Do not blame fate and destiny when you fail. Do realize that YOU are the decider of your destiny. I respect people who are belivers and actually admire their ability to believe no matter what. But, you have to use logical thought and take a scientific approach. Can anybody prove the outlandish claims that there is a "spirit in the sky?" Of course not. Can anybody prove that Jesus came back from the dead? C'mon. If god existed, there's be no acts of nature that kill thousands of innocent people. There'd be no babies dying. There'd be no cancer, AIDS, etc. God is a myth. Just like the Tooth Fairy. Organized religion has been the cause of almost every major war and/ or act of terror in the modern world.

I think there is a spiritual hunger innate in all of us to know the answer to this question. Why? Because if you come to believe that God does exist then it changes everything. I 've resolved this question for myself, yes God does exist. The only way that you are going to resolve this for yourself is to search: read the bible, talk with other believers, take a leap of faith and pray for God to help you to understand the reality of His existence etc. Then you must decide for yourself . Even then if you decide He does exist you get to choose through the gift of your free will to follow Him or not.

What do you think?

Even if he did, he's a sick bastard with no regard to human pain or any other emotion. If God does exist he has no control over our lives. God is not a loving god, like the Bible is so keen on making us believe.

Can't you see that Atheists say god doesn't exist and Christians say they do? This will get you nowhere.

Most likely not, unless we are living in some kind of reverse reality that doesn't exist in some form of the present-past from the future. If that is the case then he most likely does exist but only to the extent of non existance in some other dimension of the human concept of reality other than the present one, that doesn't exist either. SEE! It all makes sense now. D:

...He exists if you believe he does, I agree with poster below. But he only exists for you.

No one knows for sure. It's either you believe in him or you don't. Me I personally don't really think there is one, but there's always a possiblility. But I have a life, and personally have no time to try and prove to my self if there is one or not. If your asking this to try and find a religion, don't waste your time. Just don't get one, or go agnostic. Life is short. And faith and fate arn't that important.

Is a place in which I researched a year ago to try and figure it out. But I got bored and could not take enough time to really try and figure out if there was one or not.

Yes, He does.

Because you cannot see a physical person does not mean He's not there in the eyes of every child, in the smile of every grandparent, in the farmlands, and in the hearts of those that care for the sick. Yes, He exists.

God does not give us a challenge without also giving us the ability to overcome that challenge - and become stronger because of it.

What would cause you to doubt that God does exist? You can't see air - but you breath. You can't see cold, but you can shiver in the winter. You cannot see God, but you can feel His precense in your life...and His absence if He's not.
