There is this guy at school named Jason. My friends tell me that he REALLY likes me and that when he looks at me, his eyes go all soft and stuff. Jason on the other hand, tells me that he has a gf from a different school, she's in a different school from us. I asked him what her name was and he said "Sorry, that's a secret.". Also, Jason goes all red when he looks at me. i think he's lying to me, but can you tell me what you think?

Jason has had gf's before. I've only had 4 bf's in my LIFE. So I'm excatlly sure on this.

I agree with you that he could be lying, but let me tell you more about what I think he is,
I believe he never had a gf before and he likes you so much, so if it happens you could be the first one in his life ( I mean he could have no experience so bear with him ) also he is not a kind of a social person but he could try to seem social , he is a dreamer, he also could be affectionate and romantic if you help him to get over his blushing.
Try not to question if he likes you before you know if you like him first or not, if we respond to admiration we would have had several gfs and bfs, but none one would really love, its only true ones that we should choose, so be careful.

I Thins your may be correct! I think also he is lying!
I know some guys that they died to girls that they liked really.
YOU should remember that guys are complex.
Sometimes they lie as they are not BRAVE to say the truth and they think IF they tell you that they LOVE you then they may MISS you!
SO they tell you they love someone else that be able to have you too.
AS I SAID, it is hard to judge about Jason; still he may have you both, and he may like you more than her, and knows that his relationship with that girl may not last!
IF, I were you, if you like him too, just stay with him let's see what would happen next.
BUT, these kind of characters need the women be with the tough that I mean you must MAKE decision that IF you want HIM, just grab HIM and tell him: "Ok! You are mine from today, and you can not see that girl again! " They need women talk with them stright forward and strict! These guys are generally making good HUSBANDS!

Maybe jason is shy and likes or he's just shy and has a girlfriend. Find out if he has a girlfriend and if he doesn't just tell him you like him

it sounds like he may be a bit shy with women, if that isnt the case then maybe there is something that he is smiling at that could be devious...like someone told him something bout you....inside joke? otherwise u would have found out one way or another from him directly that he is interested in you, gf or not.

You should be able to look at him and tell you self if he likes you. The girl friend thing is not true, he is playing safe just in case you disapprove of him.

i think he likes you..... but maybe he's fighting it, bc he really has a gf at a diff school. but then again, maybe he is just playing hard to get. the possibilities are endless. he may like you but maybe he's not ready for a relationship. or maybe he likes you and other girls and is waiting for a reaction from then first before just commiting to you. who knows? i think you need to just ask him one on one. and if he lies to you then he's not worth it. if he liked you enough, he wouldn't play games with you.

Sounds like he likes you. Be patient and stop asking aboiut his GF. If there is one and he likes you he will get rid of her; if not move on and find someone else. Life is too short.

first, find out if this "girlfriend" really exists. if she does, he still might like you, but obviously has a gf right now. if she doesn't, i would say he probably likes you but doesn't really know how to tell you. it sounds like he's trying to play with your mind a little bit and impress you. if you like him, id say go for it!
