If it won't make YOU dead, go ahead

Well, that would sure depend on what you are talking about.

Clams that are dead you shouldn't eat, not if they are dead before you cook them.

Veggies should always be alive when you eat them. That is why they have to be in a bag that breathes in refrigerator.

The dangers upon eating raw meat and proteins, not cooked have results if dangerous, such as sal monela, e.coli, but otherwise, if served "alive" it is all right, such as a Japanese restaurant with moving seafood.

It's not what you put in your mouth that defiles you......it is what comes out of it!

If it won't kill you first and you just have to know (and it is not human) then what the heck......eat it!

Go for it. If it is fighting you then make sure you bite on it real good. If it looks harmless then you can just swallow it whole.
