Provided you have proof of purchase, and insurance to cover the car, until you have it fully submitted, and reigistered properly. You might get a ticket, but most judges will throw it out once you are straight.

sorta.....most municipalities allow for a grace period. However, if you are pulled over chances are you will get a ticket, BUT, when it comes time to go to court, if you have followed the correct procedures and have registered your car legally, most of the time the charge will be dismissed, and depending on whre you live they may charge court costs for the trouble.

Some states require you to get a temporary tag now. Check your state law. In my state (SC) you are required to get a 45 day plate if you cannot register it fully.
