NEVER squeeze a whitehead. A whitehead pimple is an indication of a staph infection - if you squeeze it, you run the risk of not getting everything out but instead allowing that staph infection to get into your blood stream.
See a physician - a dermatologist.
In the meantime, using a piece of sterile cotton, swap the area with alcohol a couple of times a day. Put some bacitracin or neosporin on the pimple to help combat the infection contained in it.
Do NOT SQUEEZE THE PIMPLE! The consequences can be dire!

Depending upon how long you have had this "pimple", it may be a couple of other things. First do NOT squeeze it!!!
It may very well be a boil, given your description of it being very big. Boils can be dangerous. Staphyloccus organisms can cause raised, red, hard, hot and extemely painful pus-filled skin abscesses. They may appear anywere on your body. Ears, nose, fingers and scalp are the most painful sites due to the thin skin and constant pressure. The boil may start very small and then become red as it grown is to the painful, pus-filled lump. The Staphylococus organism may be contracted from farm animials and other sources (staph lives on everyone's skin surface naturally.) It can remain dormant in the body for years befoe erupting, usually when the person is run-down, tired and overly stressed. Those with depressed immune systems and those with diabetes are more likely to develop boils.
WARNING: Staphylococcus is VERY infectious and many strains are becoming anti-biotic resistant. If fever is present, consult a health care provider immediately.
To do: Apply pure Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia Oil) to a develop8ing boil. Some boils can be stopped at this stage. Leave it exposed to the air. WQhen a focal head begins to appear, usually after a couple of days, you can use a sterilized needle to lance the boil and allow drainage. The release of pressure usually provides immediate relief of pain. Continue to apply Tea Tree Oil as long as drainage lasts. (Throw away any contaminated gauze or tissue in a tightly sealed ziplock bag.)
Apply triple antibiotic ointment to a soft gauze bandage and cover. If redness and swelling have not disappeared in 7 days, see your health care provider.
Melaleuca (or Tea Tree) Oil is a natural antiseptic, kills staph, strep, e.coli, virus, fungus, candida (or yeast) and is soothing and penetrating to the bone level.
This works well on a diabetic friend that has boils quite often.
Good Luck and Be Well.

Do not pick for that is how pimples spread and turn into acne. Put a dab of toothpaste on it and then leave it alone-it will dry it up(I tried it and it WORKS) naturally on 1 or 2 Ok to do but if more would dry skin way too much, To avoid getting pimples in the future get some WitchHazel-a natural astringent and disinfectant-whenever you clean your face follow by dabbing on witchHazel and leaving it on your skin-will kill the bacteria -keeps your pores clean and prevents future breakouts. Important to keep face clean esp at night so always clean face and put onthe WitchHazel for skin cells renew during the night while you and your system is at rest.If pimples evdr become problematic go see a Dermatologist for they have excellent products available through prescription .

using ice will stop the redness and warm water with salt will draw out the whitehead- alternate between both 2 times, don't exfoliate or pop it- can cause scarring

put a hot washcloth on it. It will come to a head. Pop it. After that, wash your face with mild soap, like Dove.
Put some girlie lotion on it to soothe it & help it calm down. Tomorrow it'll look better.
After you pop it, you can also hold an ice cube on it to help it calm down.
