I have this "friend with benefits" and he broke up with his GF about six months ago. They were together for 2 years or so and he still has feelings for her. I'm not pressuring him, I'm just there for him but still wish I was the only one for him (or at least the first on the list)

you cant really "make" someone forget their feelings for someone else, only time can do that. The best thing you can do is be there for him and care about him. In time you'll have your own space in his heart.

If you want him to be happy, give him some time, don't keep pressuring him so much. Trust me, if you give him time to realize that things between him and his ex are totally over he'll finally be focusing on you and YOUR relationship. And what you don't know is that you currently are the "first on his list". You are because he already dealt with his ex and now has you. Sure, he may still have feelings for that other girl but that's it!!! Nothing else!!! He just misses those times they had together. Once he realizes he has to move on, you'll have him all to yourself. Just give it some time.
