Does the love of the movies and books really exist? Ever since I was little I have always dreamt of this great love that would be so passionate. Now I'm wondering if that love really exists. Is happiness ever reflected in life as it often is in art

It exists. trust me. but you cant let your relationship failures convince you that it doesnt. its just like anything else in life...it takes multiple tries to get it right. however i dont necessarily think that the happiness you are looking for is the same as happiness reflected in art. there is much more to real life than what we see depicted in movies and books. you will find that story book passion with someone. i had my doubts but then i met my soulmate. you just have to realize that the person you share that fairy tale love with will also be the person you have to sit down next to and pay bills with. they will be the person that forgets to pick up the dry cleaning or buy a gallon of milk. if you are capable of not letting that get in the way of true love....then YES....that kind of passion is out there

That's definitely my biggest fear. I've always wanted to be Prince Charming and find someone like Cinderella who was a good person no matter what went wrong in her life. Love and happiness are real. If you want true love, you have to be patient, and you can't just give up on it.

The love in movies and books doesn't exist. In real life love isn't all flowers, sex and good times. There are trial and tribulations and a lot of hard work that goes with that love. But in the end if you find the right one, it will be worth all the ups and downs. I don't fear that I will find the right one to take that love journey with me. He's out there somewhere and I will find him--whether he's my current bf or not.

of course I fear that, even though i am still young, I do worry about this, mainly because the men I have rie to have a relationship with have not been what you would consider "good men" and I just wonder if every men in this world is llike that.

I always have. Hopefully not always will though. Even though some of us may not look perfect, does that mean we will never find true love?

I always have that fear. That fear and that my b/f will dump me.
But there is ALWAYS a match for you in this world, that's why God made over 5 billion of us.
