are u saying u signed your rights away? if so then how can u even be worried about seeing her again, nobody can force u to do that, when u signed it away then u were saying u dont want any contact and that u don't love her. so when she turns 18 she can look u up but i doubt she will because she is going to know that u intentionally gave her up and u wanted nothing more to do with her

What do you mean you HAD to sign your rights away??

I have never heard of that unless a parent was forced by the state to do that because they abused or neglected their child.

I don't think that you have any legal rights to this child any longer. That is what signing your rights away means. And why would you want to wait till she was between 10 and 18? At that point, I don't think that it is fair for you to just "pop" back into her life.

Either do something now, or not at all. And I don't think that your ex has to allow you any type of visitation, if you signed your rights away. Are you going to start paying child support for this kid if you are allowed visitation? If you say no because "legally" you don't have to, then I think that "legally" she doesn't have to let you see the child, now or later.

You signed full rights over? Do you have visitation? If legally you are not allowed to see her because of abuse or neglect then no. If not for those reasons u will need to get a lawyer and find out how u go about getting to see her. Until she is 18, something needs to be worked out with the mother/and or the court system. If u cant afford a lawyer, call your local job and family services to get you some free legal aid. Good luck

That depends on you and why you lost her. If you just signed her over because you felt your ex could care better for the child then there's no reason why you can't have visitation now and forever. When you signed her over you should have had a paper drawn up on child support and visitation.

You probably will have to go to court and get an order, unless your ex is generous and let's you have visitation privileges.
