I mean, couldn't we just have windows and climb in and out of them? It just makes sense to me! And that way, extra lumber wouldnt have to be cut for making doors! And if everyone was accustomed to being naked, then we wouldn't need doors anyway, now would we? What would be left to hide? Exactly. I'm right. Right?

Then the extra lumber would be used in the place of the door. And disabled people, big people, ect, wouldn't be able to jump through a window. This is silly

Well lets see....you know that makes sense! I guess there would be exceptions for old people and people in wheelchairs. But it might be hard for people who live in cold environments---hmmm---yeah, well I agree. We should all live in the rainforest and eat bananas and hang out with the monkeys, and be naked of course. Oh--but then I wouldn't be able to waste my time answering crazy questions like this on the internet. hmmm....

That's disgusting and you need a door to get in your house dude. Windows would be harder. I agree with you on the wood thing, but dude, being in front of people you don't know is gross. Don't think like that!!!!!

you could potentially think of a paneled glass door as a window that has a knob. change your way of thinking for a bit. I think that we have doors because it protects your things from being stolen. Doors aren't there to hide things, because even glass houses have doors.

Honey...it's just the way man created things....learn to live with it. Doors are very useful but can be very dangerous at the same time. Remember to always lock your doors otherwise a stranger can just come inside. I always lock my doors...but then again, who doesnt??!!

Imagine how hard it would be on the elderly and disabled to be forced to climb in and out a window.

Wow, what a great point. You have opened my mind to new horizons. However I still think doors provider easy access, and they are practical, practicality never goes out of fashion.

It would confuse alot of burglars. They don't want you to see
them coming from a distance through your door frame.
