I no iam not suppostu drink pop but like what can you do after you drink pop to prevent decay?

Brush your teeth as soon as you can. It's not how much sugar you consume, but how long that sugar stays on your teeth that causes tooth decay. So get rid of it as soon as you can and you should be just fine. Of course, it's a better idea to talk to your dentist and see what he/she has to say.

I've been drinking pop since I was a kid and as long as you have proper oral hygiene skills then it shouldnt hurt you. The bacteria in your mouth consume the sugar in pop and kick out acid afterwards. the acid sitting on your teeth will cause demineralization and the acid in pop does it too, but as long as you brush twice a day and floss properly then it doesnt happen in like a few minutes. its takes some time.

I drink a lot of soda. My dentist said my teeth are healthy but do NOT brush your teeth immediately after drinking soda, rather, drink water. Brush your teeth normally as you would 3 times a day.

Drink the soda thru a straw..it helps a lil. But of course brushing rt after u drink is essential.

brush your teeth, but if your going to drink pop, then try drinking it with a straw instead because then it wont hurt your teeth as much or stain them.
