I once met a woman who was very attractive--I picked her out of a crowd. At one point we started dancing, and I could smell body odor, but I assumed it was somebody next to us, cuz women don't smell like that. then we were on another date when I smelled it again. It was her! We never had sex, but if we did do it, no doubt it would pop up again. would you still continue dating this woman? I broke up with her, and I've thought since then maybe it was a mistake.

She may have a health problem that can be solved. You won't know unless you get "close" to her again. (She may have been just extraordinarily excited to be near you!)

I wonder if it is a "problem" where your normal showering will not help. or does she just not shower often. I think you get used to your own smell, so she may not even know she smells, and think a "once a week" shower is enough. Your kind-of in a spot. If you really like her......maybe you could shower together!@#$% I know that is what everyone will say, easier said than done, but what next. I'm not sure. If you REALLY like her, maybe flat out honesty, in a very delicate way......OK you figure that part out.

buy her some scented soaps and bubble baths and perfume for Christmas, Its a time to reach out and renew old friendships.
I've wondered about that in the past too. Everyone has a unique scent, different pheramones, different foods where some chemicals come through skin moisture...etc.. or even the brand of soaps they use, (some of these things can be changed). Some women's scent may be disagreeable to one man but not to another. I had a girlfriend who was meticulously clean, but still didn't agree with my nose. I switched to another one who agrees with my nose, but she is turning out to be miserable. I wish I didn't switch, I should have got her to switch her body-wash/shower-gel. Maybe I need to find a new one because I played my cards wrong.

take it from a woman, their ARE times when women have "female" odor, but it should go away and women should MAKE sure that they cant be smelled!! if she smelled more than once, i'd say thats a sign of NOt being clean. Any decent woman i know doesnt stink.

If that was the only thing wrong with her than yes you made a mistake.that could have been very easily taken care of without doing something like breaking up with her.espically if you really liked her.good women/men are hard to find and maybe you were just a little hasty about the situation.good luck and i hope things get better for you.

Surely body odor is thing that able to be fixed, not like her other physical being. If you really like her, than go after her again.

I have a body odor problem too, IF I DON"T SHOWER!!!
No, I wouldn't go out with her. There are plenty of pretty women out there that don't stink.
