When will the silent majority of peaceful Muslim's open your mouth,and stop the radical's from hijacking your religion?

They're already doing that. I think the question should be redirected back to you, when are people like you going to shut-up and notice that peaceful Muslims are already doing something about it...?

I have a few muslim friends and they are wonderful people and i know from them that islam is basically a beautiful and peaceful religion. Some of its people are being misled and wrongly influenced. Feel bad for the good ones and hopefully someday, the goodness of the religion will shine over what it's being portrayed to be now.

Why should we have to defend our religion to anybody? If people had sense enough they would know that the world is not only full of christians and jews and that for almost 1500 years Muslims have been on this Earth. It's not our fault people only listen to what the media dishes out to them. I grow tired of this issue. I live in New York City and have to deal with people throwing vile comments at me all day for being Muslim. What am I suppossed to say to someone who throws things at me from car windows, yells all sorts of profanities at me and tells me to lift up my dress? Do you think they care to hear my opinion? We are just normal people- who live our lives devoted to God-- not unlike any other religious peoples////// What do you want us to say "Hey! Everybody! I'm not a terrorist! Okay>!? So please dont hate me anymore!!!?????"

We open our mouths but no one listens. What will it take to stop people from taking a handful of nut jobs and comparing them with millions and millions of good people who just want to raise their families, pray to God and live in peace loving their religion and not having to defend it or have people try to make you feel ashamed of it 24 hours a day seven days a week.....

I would really like it if you would tell me how many times the media showed anything good about Islam.
Even when the good Muslims do good for themselves and their religion, the media just bursts out with lies or only shows what the extremists do.

what tells you we dont we dont agree with radicals both sides islamic or western is just bush blair and radical muslims all using exuses for thier wrong doings

They are there--demonstrations, national meeting, etc.,. It is just that that is not sensational enough for the western news media to pick it up. They only show fanatic Muslims doing their thing.
