Yes it's true, I've been to Celtic games at Celtic Park, with two teams, one from Edinburgh and one from Glasgow(not Rangers). When the Provisional IRA were still active the Celtic fans made shooting gestures at us (when I was with the Glasgow team) and also made out they were blowing up bombs.
Glasgow Celtic are actually a team that I used to enjoy watching in the 80's because of the attractive football they played but now I see them and their horrible smelly fans (not all) as a real backward step. Any romantic notions of being a Celtic supporter eg.1967 have long gone. Rangers have worse hooligans though.

Not all auld firm fans are full of hate. Unfortunately there are a small minority on both sides. I have been a season ticket holder for years at Celtic park, i can honestly say that i have not seen anything that is any worse than elsewhere.
By the way, Scotch is a drink!!

Firstly only tomatoes and whiskey are scotch, the people are Scots or Scottish. There is no religious bias this is just a myth put out by Scotland's Protestant third team through their masonic contacts in the media as they like to look like the are persecuted. LOL

You drink Scotch, well I do anyway. It is called SCOTTISH football, don't mind jock, not very inventive but you try. Read a bit of history and you will understand, not only that, it will never change.

It's getting better! Both Celtic and Rangers are Scottish clubs with a great tradition on the national and international stage. Sadly there are the few that continue to live out long forgotten battles by proxy through these teams. It makes me cringe to see either union flags or Irish tricolours being brandished at their games, not to mention the bitter sectarian songs of hate. Regrettably with a support which is almost universally polarised down the religious divide, Rangers and Celtic can be confident of appealling to a huge fan base of protestants and catholics the length and breadth of Scotland.

Well the reason of all this is because scottish religion is passed down by generation so Rangers were Protestant and Celtic were Catholic but anyway im Catholic and im a Rangers fan and I see no problem why I can't do that

yes it is true, but the Scottish executive, the spl and sfa, also uefa are trying to get to grips with the situation it might take a generation to rid Scottish football of sectarian abuse, but you cant tell a old firm fan the facts they are blind to what they do look they even insult you because they cant stand sumone even asking a question on it because they know the truth and are blind, dont get me wrong not all old firm fans are like this, there are sum decent one's who agree there is no place in Scottish football for religious bigots, the problem we have is they come to towns and citys all over Scotland and Europe and sing there sectarian crap on the streets scare old ladies and children with there bigioted songs, slowly but surly we will rid scottish football of this crap , and we will be better for it
