just lose all your senses and thought process and seize to exist after you die and you had some way of knowing it beforehand? Could you cope with it? Would you seek eternal life on earth?

Look at your self from a 3rd person perspective. You are a lump of matter with a brain. What does that brain, who is completely dependent upon the rest of that lump of matter for functioning going to want to believe? That it just stops working? Or is tht brilliant brain going to picture up some great fantasy of which it will never die?

Well that's what I already think.
In coping with death being the end, life became infinitely more precious to me.
Would I seek eternal life on earth... maybe extended, but probably not eternal.

"What if ... " Instead of wondering, what if make it a point to find out the facts? It is true that one ceases to exist when one dies ... Unless God chooses to resurrect one from the dead. In that case, one only lives on as a memory, until such time.
Your mention of religions being wrong brings to mind a recently published tract (distributed worldwide last month):
The End of False Religion Is Near!
- What Is False Religion?
- How Will It End?
- How Will You Be Affected?
http://www.watchtower.org/e/kn37/article_01.htm
(This is it in whole, on-line.)
As described therein, by far most of religion is false, and will suffer destruction. Right after that, the ones who carry out tht destruction will notice that one religion remains standing. When they strt to take action to destroy that one also, they will suffer destruction at the hands of God's appointed King. < This is Armaggedon. After that, all its survivors will have the opportunity for life everlasting on earth, along with the many millions God has promised to resurrect. But, it won't be the same society, nor will it be the same environment as we know it today. It will become just the way God originally intended, with People & animals & other creatures all living in harmony & peace. Perfect health will be the norm, and all will speak truth. Gone forever will be disunity, lies, hate, cheating, illness, even death! Yes ... under these circumstances I DO want eternal life on earth! Don't you?

If I just cease to exist after I die then I have still lived a great life here on earth following and believing in Jesus Christ.
If I found out today that I wouldn't go to Heaven when I die it wouldn't change the way I live. I would still worship my creator and thank Him for the life I have here.

no one has ever actually returned from the dead only a momentary pause and return but not dead in the most
real sense of the word .So there is no evidence from the
dead to support anything other than the the real sense of
death one who is bereft or surviving might perceive. So why fanatically jump to totally unfounded conclusion contrary to ones real senses. If there were a God and us in his image as most mainstay religions assert we would be facilitated with such knowledge but we are not .Hence it seems foolish to think otherwise especially by cliche which goes against the sense with which are brain functions normally ...the epicureans realized that death was final and so does everyone else before they are lied to .Hasn't religion exploited us all .If the masses were reoriented we might with modern advances institute a moral code for society that works for the betterment of mankind without tainted lies to trick but reason with which to convince.

Mankind cannot accept the circle of life, he really is a needy creature, I do believe if he did find out that it was all a lie he would self destruct, and it is his belief that gives him hope that there is more than just dying.

Lets put it this way.....You can either live here on earth, believe in God then die and find out you was wrong......or you can live not believing in God and die and find out there is a God and be Hell bound. I prefer to believe!!!!

Yes, eternity is just as incomprehensible as the existence of God, and a universe without God is even more incomprehensible.

What if you are wrong?
What if science is wrong?
What if you die and find out that you are going to hell for not believing?
What if, in my religion, it was polite to say F*CK YOU when you try to prove them wrong? Could you cope with it?
