Yes you should stop saying that, and if you are always saying, girl friend, you should stop saying that to. Well you asked. This has nothing to do with religion, the expressions just irritate me.

Anything can be a sin. Your conscious must be trying to tell you something. Most people say stuff like that and it isn't a big deal. Maybe you need to pray about it. Mike

What does, "You go, girl!" have to do with religion? Use it as you wish--it's still a popular phrase and recognizable.
