Yes, I'm in Malaysia at the moment and they are everywhere.

The female ones 'bite' (they suck really), the male ones do not because they have no need to. Females bite because the blood they take in is a good source of protein which they use when making more mosquitos...

Mosies are attracted by sweat, and also carbon dioxide emissions. I can;t remember off hand all of the details, but before you go to sleep, have a wash and you will be less likely to get bitten.

Also, they love Limburger cheese. I guess that's because it is like a smelly armpit.

You are not alone they seem to love some of us more than others its crazy try not to wear perfume or lotions when you know you will be out also even hairsprays will attract them! you can try its going to sound strange but it helps really!! get a fabric softener dryer sheet and just tuck it in your pocket not all the way ,or your shirt maybe one in the laces of your shoe it really works! Also skin so soft products made by Avon are a life saver they have the spray and the sunscreen with repelant good luck. Oh and for your bites try benadryl there is some clear stuff they make just for bug bites, to put on the bite, to relieve itching

Yes I have. Those things seem to love me. I will be covered in bites and others with me will not have one bite! I like to use SSS bath oil from Avon after a shower I use it while still wet. It deters them a good bit. SSS is Skin So Soft from Avon. It must be the original scent though. They have stuff made just for bugs too but it has more chemicals than I prefer to use.(and its sticky) its not perfect. I will still get a bit or two but it helps a lot. If the bugs are real bad I will use the chemicals but sparingly.

PS: I live NC mosquitoes come in like fog here!

i bet they come all the way from your country to mine just to bite me
I can go out at any time of the day and get bites everywhere on me.
and even if I put spray on..I may get just a few bites, but I will get a few bites
people love for me to go out at night with them

they do not get bit at all, because I look like I have a flock around me, all mosquito's...coming after me...
so yes I know what you mean...
I hate them

good luck

eat spicy foods they will stay away. Put some pure aloe vera on the bites. It wil heal them fast. I went alligator hunting once and they completely ate me up that evening. but I learned about the spicy foods, garlic is good especially. and Cayenne pepper.we got um so bad and big. last year one allmost took off with my youngest boy. had to shoot it with my rifle before it would fly off.theres some plants you can plant around your property that make it so they dont wont to be around. but you will have to research that.about which plants they are.good luck

Scented soaps and eating fruit attracts misquotes. Just something you may want to consider. Perfume is bad also.

I get them. Some well up to be quite large and hard and hot. I wish I could help advise you as to how to get rid of them.

Don't itch them at all, not once and they go away in about an hour.
