I think maybe one of the parents killed her by accident maybe by shaking her or something,Then tried to cover it up..The police would have known this if they didn't botch the freaking investigation.
I can't see how someone could break into that home and do that, In the house, and not be detected. leave no evidence. and then vanish. I think the cops suspect the right people

that Patsy paid someone to kill JonBenet and have her find the body and act like she was in shock and forged the note with the money John Ramsey recieved as a raise or something like that so she could divorce him or she could have killed JonBenett herself and got cleaned up. Acted like she found the body and she knew where it was the whole time. I've got a feeling that Patsy was involved the whole time but know we will never know due to Patsy's death.

The most plausible? She wet the bed and her mother freaked and hit her too hard. Read the evidence, it's fairly onbious, except maybe to the Boulder Cops, but they're one of those touchy-feely departments.

I don't buy the "intruder" theory...I still think someone IN the family had something to do with that poor childs death.
