This girl say not to bother her on her away message because she is in a bad mood. I decided not to pay attention to it and ask what was wrong. I talked to her over AIM and she was really really upset and she told me what happened. This girl and I arent really friends more on the border of friends and aquaintenence. I was totally unrelated to the problem but I think that she got it out and felt better. Should I "help" her again like that or follow her away message?

This is a hard thing to judge. In this case, your intuition proved to be correct. Sometimes girls, (or guys) will tell you "it's nothing, don't worry about it..." as a way of saying, "I don't like being a wet blanket by asking for advice...but I need help!" But there are also those times that the trouble is something extremely personal that they don't feel comfortable talking about with an "acquaintance". You helped her in this instance by being persistant. You can count on the fact that you touched her heart, and she will probably feel more comfortable talking to you in the future. Good Call!

Give the girl some space and time to work things out for herself. Obviously you're not helping bringing it up. If she wants to talk about it, she'll bring it up. In the meantime, just lay low, Dude. If you must call, just ask how she's doing...and let her take the lead. Godloveya for trying to be a good friend.

Well, I don't really know. If she says she doesn't want any IMs, I'd probably leave her alone. Sometimes instead of venting to people, we just need to be alone and let things blow over.
If you really feel as if you need to help her just type something like: "I hope things work out soon. If you wanna vent then IM me."
That way she'll know you wanna listen to her but you're NOT saying, "Tell me what happened." in a I-need-to-know-tone.

Good job. Sounds like you are a good friend. From my experience I would say she was doing this so someone would help her. If she did not really want to talk to anyone she would just but her IM to away.

You can always contact her and if she is persistent that you leave her alone till she feels better, do so. In most cases people will say to leave them alone so that they don't sound needy, but will talk if someone wants to listen and they will more than likely feel better after.

Obviously she needed to talk to someone and your timing was perfect. Keep trying to talk to her or communicate with her one way or the other. It will make her feel better, and you will feel better knowing you helped her too.
We all need a friend to lean on sometime. Good luck.

Yes , just being there is good. No matter. Just be there for her without pushing anything , and probably a great friendship will come out of it.

Try to hangout with her, but yes help her in the future. You are there for her when others aren't and you give an outside perspective.
