there is none, as people can share files, there is no virus free, they all have tons of viruses, what i do is not download any files smaller than 5-20 megs, anything in the K's is bound to have a virus. you could buy aedan or Avast! i dont know, but Aedan works pretty well, im running it, but i think its based on Avast!, both are virus scanners, Aedan can scan files from limewire, kaza and other file shareing programs, and it does it very well, as for avast, i dont know, but like i said, there is no virus free file sharing programs out there. Aedan isnt for sale, yet, i think it comes out in december or after new years, but it seems to be based on Avast! so check out Avast! online. i dont know what these other people are talking about, espically limewire, those are freaking loaded with viruses, whare do you think they get the files? from the people, and the virus spreaders are the people, so any place that allows people to freely upload files is virus kingdom, there is no safe place to download, except from some sites, but those are few. best way to be safe is to use a powerful antivirus, not use a good downloader app.

First, while you're attempting to DL a record illegally, there is often the possibilty you will get a pandemic, as a result there is not any such software to do it one hundred% risk-free. the only way you will get it unfastened is with the aid of risking it. Your ultimate guess is archives shared with the aid of many sources. Like in Limewire, if there are one hundred human beings you could DL from you're probably risk-free. you could whether have your workstation run a pandemic test precise once you get carry of it.

Shareaza searches multiple networks, contains no adware or spyware and is quite easy to use. As with all p2p networks, you'll need to use some discretion in what you download and scan your system regularly, but the p2p software itself is clean.

Ares and Limewire are both good, but to the best of my knowledge, the chances they are illegal are very high. =O
