The muslim is the person who works in your hospital as a consultant for heart surgery or helping to deliver a baby.
They act as lawyers for you in court or as solicitors to arrange your mortgage.
They teach in your schools, helping your your children to get the qualifications they need for jobs.
They own restaurants and shops keeping you fed and supplied 24/7.
One of them may even be trying to bring home the ashes for England!
They put up with ignorance and abuse, and are more often than not are the victims of violence and hate.
So what's the problem? Would our society not be so much the poorer without them?

Our society would be better off with Muslims that openly demonstrate and speak out against this!

"They teach in your schools, helping your (your) children to get the qualifications they need for jobs," and then go and blow themselves up, and others, on the tube.

You have a very strong point. They obviously cannot be trusted.

Would our society be poorer without them? I guess those killed and injured on the tube by your fifth columnist Muslims would not have agreed.

If you do not understand what is the problem with the murder and hatred of the Muslim religion I would say you are being wilfully ignorant.

[some of them] are people who have apparently never heard the phrase: when in rome, do as the romans do.
the greatest thing that community can do for it own public image is to consign the veil to history.
at the very least, that community could bannish the wearing of funerial black, which when worn in conjunction with hiding the face, sends out a very negative vibe to western eyes.
i think we are so tolerant in the uk that wearing adsolutely anything is ok, but perhaps muslims just dont understand what an affront it is not to see a persons face.

The average muslim is just the same as everyone of us. However, one or two ignorant ones who blow themselves and others up in the name of god have really tarnished the image of Islam and thus muslims. The lack of understanding Islam the religion in the West has also contributed to generalisation of all muslims being terrorists. I am not a muslim but I'm quite sure that Islam, just as in Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism, only want the best for all mankind.

You have a very good point. There are some wonderful Muslim people I know. A lot of Islamics people anger on answers is that they are reactive to the negativism towards them.

You get a hundred nice Muslims and one is a terrorist, the nice Muslims never make the news.

I don't agree with aspects of their religion but I agree with your point.

What difference does the religion of a nurse, lawyer or cricketer make? The only time someone's religion makes any difference to me is when I have to dodge their bombings.

and for richbro...

I really need to do more and more research in order to reply for the site you mentioned. I've read some letters that have been sent to that site, and the guy is just a complete maniac.

To reply to that, we need strong evidence, that's why I haven't replied yet.

Peace.
