Jesus contributed more positively
Neitche contributed more negatively
the sad fact is that Neitche went nuts till he died ..he could not live with his premise that mercy was a weakness

While I'm not an atheist, I'm certainly not what most would consider a Christian.
With that said, my opinion (with a BA in philosophy) is that Jesus contributed more to society as a philosopher hands down.

Nietszche, in my opinion, contributed more positively. Jesus caused a bunch of madness.
By the way, how can you separate Jesus from the wars fought in his name?

Nietszche. Jesus is way over interpreted. Although Jesus is much more recognized maybe I would have to go with Jesus on this one and not be biased.

In modern society I would have to go for Nietzsche. Even christians aren't really christians any more, now that the message has been so corrupted.
