I have limited hairdressing skills and my girlfriend wants to go super short. She has nice long shiny hair liek you see on some of the commercials, but she wants a short and slick style now with a buzzed back. She wants to go to the high school dance with me like this in a red dress and matching red gloves. She told me that she wants to look like Christy Turlington in an issue of Vogue with finger waves what is to be her short gelled hair. I tried to find some cutting instructions and supplies online, but coul only find the equipment. I even suggested that she leave her hair as it is or just go to a salon, but she thinks it would be sexy if i cut it when we're both naked before taking a shower together. Please, someone help me out?
P.S. Can any body suggest to me how I can do this style or where I can find instructional resources on performing such a haircut. I really need help because my girlfriend is counting on me despite the fact that I love her long hair so much. E-mail me.

It would be nice if she were to donate her hair to "Locks of Love". She would be quite a hero. But to do this and be sure they get the maximum hair, she really should go to a salon, explain the cut she wants and that shes donating her hair. She will get a professional job for a good cause.
For your suggestion, you may be able to just sit back and support her while scoring points for the good idea.

GO ahead and take a shower if ya really want, but the hair cutting thing is best left to the professionals.

DO NOT CUT HER HAIR. If you do a mistake, she won't forgive you. Tell her to go to a professional. Though, before such a big event, I wouldn't suggest that she do anything as drastic as cutting her hair.

here's a good deal....
hire a hairstylist and do your fantasies along with the hairstylist. it's almost everybody's fantasy to engage in a three-some. why not have it with a sexy hairstylist? i mean, that way, you won't be damaging her hair, let alone making her look like a disaster after cutting the hair off... =)
about the hair, if she wants it cut off, deal with it. it'll grow back anyways.. =)
that's scoring two fantasies in one shot. god, this is the greatest idea i can come up with... =)

She's put you in a lose/lose position. If you don't do it, she'll be mad. If you do it, odds are she's not going to like it and you're to blame. Most of the time, when we go from long to short, we hate it at first, even if it's a great cut. I'd go with not doing it - she'll forgive you faster.

Please do not cut her hair........do not take that risk.....short hair is very difficult........rather ask her if you can take her to a hairdresser as a gift or something........DON"T DO IT
