Cavalli is good...but if you want a great vodka that pretty much goes down like water i would look into a vodka called "3"...
its made from soy...i know that sounds weird...and it is...but that is the best vodka i've ever had...and i drink ALOT of Vodkas (we have a bar around here that has 127 different kinds of vodka...ive tried almost all of them)...its about the price of absolut or stoli

Haven't tried Cavalli, but I think Grey Goose is the smoothest for mixing. SKYY is also good, but I prefer that chilled neat.

Try Idol Vodka...it is alleged to be the only vodka on the market with no detectable impurities...about $30/ fifth...Tito's is also very good...handmade from Texas...about $20/fifth...$30/1.75l...you do the math....

as of 2 yrs ago, Hangar One Vodka from california was rated the best. they even use use real fruit in their flavored line.
