my bf and i broke up about a week ago but he and i are still good friends. the wierd thing is that the day after, and every day since then, he's either called me or texted me, and also he admitted to me that a few days ago he was trying to make me jealous. he's been telling me weird things about his day (like "i was dancing in the shower and i cut my toe" ya, he actually told me that) and when he (truely) explained why he broke up with me he said "just friends" weird. he knows that i'm fine with being just friends and that i won't become obsessive and try to get him back, but he said it really weird. What is going on? I would love to get back together with him, but if he doesn't feel the same i'll let it go, i just want a second oppinion, does it soud like he wants to get back together?
Thanks and God Bless!!

how long were you guys together?

whenever i've just broken out of a relationship, i always feel guilty especially if it was me who broke it off. i'd always call right back and keep checking on my ex. i'd act like we haven't broken up, although we are, we wouldn't talk about it. trying to avoid the subject. and if the relationship lasted for a while, it's hard to just change routine right away unless there is someone else already. so it still feels like we're still together or that i want to get back in the relationship although i don't. guilt causes me to give mix signals and i think that's what's going on with your ex at the moment.

if you ask me, he broke up with you, so until he comes back and asks you back, stop reading into his actions and try to move on. go out and meet other people. if it's not guilt that he's feeling, then goodluck, maybe he's just shy about asking you back, or not. either way, if he want's you back, he'll ask.

Wait a time, leave the things they enter in the axes and later talk. That is the famous game of the " I want but I don't admit "

It kind of sounds like he's obsessing over you, confused. I think he does just want to be friends, but it must feel awkward to him.

go with the flow, maybe he want to just be friends because he simply misses your friendship. wait it out, if he starts asking you to dinner or a movie, then he probably wants more.
