My skin is also extra sensitive so almost all of the skin care products I've used have irritated it even more and made it burn so much that I had to stop immediately. What is a daily routine/regimine that can be followed to take care of my skin and hopefully eventually solve or decrease the problem? Thanks

Are you getting enough good fats in your diet? I had severe eczema years ago til I started taking fish oils capsules in my diet. Flax, primrose, borage mixed ones are good but the best I found was the fish. I use one called Geniune Health. You might try eating more plant fats like avocado and olives.
Use a really simple routine with no or low preservatives. Some dry skin folks I know use olive oil from the kitchen to clean and mosturize. Its cheap and low chance of reaction.

I use a product from my doctor that does the same thing, and it's supposed to peel the dead skin that it creates to expose the new, fresh unaffected skin. Lately though with the weather change and the wind my face has been ultra dry and peeling and my lips, wow, I'm thinkin' they may just chap off my face! It's not just you, honest. I won't stop using my prescription though because it really does help me a lot, and I do use oil free lotion to help with the super dryness, but don't forget it is supposed to dry us out to remove the acne and it's scares. When it clears up and we see the new clear skin, be sure to moisturize then too.

Buy a loofah (can be a mitt) to slough off the dry skin while you shower. After towel drying, apply Vaseline Intensive care Extra Strength all over.

If you want to take a bath, put Alpha Keri oil in the water (which shouldn't be too hot) and don't soak for too long.

If you can, adding moisture to the air where you live would be helpful. A humidifier or even a vaporizer would be helpful. Winter dryness is a big problem. You have to find a solution that works for you or you'll go nuts. ;-)

I wish you luck!

On the areas that are peeling you might want to use A&D ointment so the skin can heal and not get infected. As for dry skin try johnson's baby oil ( after shower or bath) and palmers coca butter in the jar.

Dry skin always so irritating...I hate it so much...I suggest you try using Zenmend Derma Lotion from Zenmed or Autopalm from Skinstore.com.

Zenmed has no side effects and it's non-irritant to the
skin. It's proven to works fast and it povides Maximum
results! It's certainly a good lotion to prevent further
outbreaks.

Another product that I think is effective is Atopalm. This dry skin mlm is one of the best seller at skinstore.com now. (Skinstore.com holds more than 10,000 skin care products) It's pretty effective, and worth the dollar paid out.

Vaseline, Vaseline, Vaseline. It's cheap and it doesn't just coat dry skin, it heals dry skin. Apply it right out of the tub, don't be stingy, apply it generously, massage it in really well dry off and you will feel deliciously soft for the rest of day. I should know I have alligator skin! Or shall I say I used to.

Try Queen Helene Cocoa Butter, the creme not the lotion. It's calming for the skin. It's really thick. Try using it twice a day. It work for me and my daughter. If it doesn't work, I suggest you go see a doctor.

You can use St. Ives gentle exfoliating lotion, to remove the dead skin, and then get oil-free face lotion to moisturize your skin. I had the same problem in the past, and that definitely works.
