I am an American citizen. So were my parents and their parents. So were my great -grandfathers. I am 57 years old now and white people still hate me.Just because I am Mexican-American.
I do not buy the crap you all are putting out.

Shadow, I was not talking about you.The people I am refering to know who they are. They are pretending to be something when they are not.By the way I am not a Mexican either. I am an American. My descendants are Mexican Indians. That is why I call myself Mexican-American. Mexican Indians have been here many centuries before any whiteman came along.

I think you have to live in the US for more than 2 years before you can apply for citizenship. I'm sure you must be a legal permanent resident first. The link below is the US Citizenship and Immigration Services website. Your answer should be in there somewhere.

Contact the INS.

If I were you, I'd go research this at the library.

My advice to Mexicans is to go back to Mexico and apply at the US Embassy or Consulate.
