Depending on bloodline, if it is show quality or pet quality, what area of the country you are from and which color category you are interested in it can range from $200 - $1200.
If you adopt one from a shelter it can be as little as $45 - $50 and from a Persian rescue the adoption fee could be $150.
Don't buy one from a Pet Store. These kittens don't come from reputable, responsible breeders. They are often sold way too young (by law they aren't suppose to be sold until they are 8 weeks old), they are often way over vaccinated (no kitten should have even started their vacciantions until they are 8 weeks old, they often have or develop URI and other illnesses, etc. A responsible breeder NEVER sells a kitten (or puppy) by way of a pet store..it is against the breeder code of ethics.

I have a Persian and she originally costed 500 but we got her at a pet shop for 395 so I think a good price range would be....200 to 500 dollars. They're really good, independent, clean cats. Very affectionate. People think if you get them from the pet shop for that price, they're the "lowest quality" but Persia was only a month old and she was healthy and all her shots were up to date. Now she's 11 months old and still healthy and just as beautiful as she was the first time i saw my Lil fur ball :)

It varies depending on where you look. I was able to pick mine up for a total of $100 dollars and I've never been happier, lol. Good Quality breeders will most likely sell you one from any range of 300-800 dollars, depending on the show quality of the cat. You could always call your local shelter and see if they have one, but most Persian cats who end up at a shelter, either have something wrong with them or they have been abused. While it is considered one of the cheapest routes, and one of the more humane, you are never quite sure what you are signing up for with shelter persians. My advice to you, in order to get the exact answer you are looking for; try finding a local breeder near you, look on the web or in the phone book. If they don't have their price info up on their website, you can contact them for it. ^_^ Or you could contact your local vet, they will tell you where to look and what to look for. I wish you luck, persians are wonderful cats and companions!

If you go through a Persian rescue you can adopt a Persian for a much more reasonable price ($75-200) and they will be spayed/neutered and up to date on shots.

$300 - 500+.
It depends on the individual breeder.

P.S. Check local shelters & rescues. Sometimes the purebred cats, such as Persians, can end up in there, due to the grooming requirements that a previous owner decided they didn't want to deal with.

depends where you buy it from.. depends what country you are in.. Austria?? Australia?? Argentina??

pet stores will charge the MOST for the LOWEST QUALITY
reputable breeders will charge a HIGH price but the quality will also be high becuase BOTH parents will have gone to shows to prove they are worthy of being bred
back yard breeders (those who didnt show the parents) will have mid-range price.. low to mid range qualtiy

YES- you can find Persians at rescues or SPCA's - these will be the cheapest and the best value since rescues are NON-PROFIT they cannot charge more becuase a cat is a certain breed

Depends on where you buy it. At Taiwan, it's about 1000. At America, it's about 100~600.
But you don't actually have to buy one. You can go to the shelter or adoption center for a free kitty!

Depends on where you go. If you go to a breeder, you can pay some hefty prices. You could always check your local shelter and see if they have any. That's where I adopted mine from for a small fee of $40. =)
