Could any problems arise if it back of the neck isnt washed?

You'd find the same bacteria as the rest of your body. Plus if you passed out recently and someone took permenant marker to the back of your neck/behind your ears it will eventually come off. But ya gotta wash!!

The benefits of washing the back of the neck is that it will be clean. Once a day should be sufficient.

Because its dirty. ALL parts of the body have bacteria. Once a day bathing of the neck should suffice. You can wash the neck the same time you shower.

(humm. I thought everyone washed their necks when they shower)

A big benefit is that you would stink less.
You should wash your whole body, top to bottom, once per day.
You should wash your hands many times per day, with soap, for optimal disease prevention.

No benefits....just prevents ring around the collar, and that butt odor that you smell when the wind hits you from your six.
