Your in the woods watching one deer for what seems like forever trying to see if its a buck or not then you put your gun to your shoulder just incase and the deer takes off and you see the biggest rack on that sucker that you have ever seen on a deer but its gone before you can even take aim, and for all you animal geeks who are going to say **** about me being a hunter go ahead i will make sure to think about your retarted comment when i'm gutting my next deer and laugh.

I know how you feel.. ive done the same thing about 6 hours ago.. i was walking in open woods under some oak trees in the crunchy leaves... as soon as i got to the next flat bam...i put my gun up and there he was a solid 180's 14 pt behind a tree..( i didnt know he was a buck) until it was to late..

I feel your pain I did the same thing this year I was walking a game trail put my rifle on my shoulder to check my compas and 20 feet from me was a 10 point by the time I went for my rifle he was gone.

its a deer you should have shot it you cant eat bones any way what would have been the worsed thing that could happen you get a freezer full of meat......? me i would have killed it
