Washing your hair daily strips it of the natural oils that it needs to stay healthy. It can dry it out and make it brittle.

The less often you wash your hair, the less often you'll *need* to wash your hair. After a while it just won't get greasy. Most of the time I don't use shampoo at all. I just use a light conditioner (which actually has mild cleansers in it), and only shampoo when my hair really needs it (every 4 days or so, or if I've used hairspray or something in it).

sure, it strips your hair of its organic oils this is undesirable. additionally, many shampoos incorporate Sodium Laurel Sulphate (somethin like that) which isn't good on your hair, its acidic on your follicles inflicting hair to fall out over the years (reason why they positioned SLS into shampoos is with the help of the fact its staggering at removing extra grease, it may additionally be recent in dish soaps and heavy duty floor cleaners). I used to shampoo my hair popular, did that for approximately 7 years, and those days i began doing it the different day and my hair is now tremendously extra healthful, I recommend washing your hair three times a week. this would not recommend you mustn't bathe popular, do purely no longer shampoo whenever you bathe. Water works nicely at removing grease too, so on the days you do no longer wash your hair purely rinse it out nicely with water and additionally try to be all good.

At first i thought that. Washing your hair everyday will strip your hair of your natural oils. Which is bad, but, when i started to get a little older my hair got oiler. So i would wash it every other day. In the morning it would look fine but at the middle of the day it was really oiler. So i started to wash it everyday its fine to do that. My hair looks great its soft and shiny.

your hair is dead - it won't damage your hair.
If your hair is coloured, it may dull the colour sooner, so use a colour enhancing or protecting shampoo.
If it's permed, then the perm may not last as long (but I doubt it)
Use a good conditioner.
Damage to hair is caused by over brushing, pulling on it or over drying it with electric hair dryers (causing breakage and split ends)
If you are rough when you wash your hair (ie rubbing it together vigorously) it may fray more readily.

If anything - frequent washing will dry out your skin (on your head).

well, yes. washing means drying, which breaks thousands of strands, then you'll have to brush it. which also means damage(im not saying dont wash your hair!) plus, it removes natural oils that are healthy from your hair. its not good for your hair if you brush it more than three times a day.

well... no but your scalp produces oils that are very healthy and good for you hair. and if you wash your hair everyday then you are not giving your scalp a chance to produce those oils. so yea i would suggest washing your hair every other day.

No it's mainly drying it and using heat prducts that will damage your hair. Washing everyday is fine, I believe.

It all depends on your hair type, how healthy your hair is, and the products you are using. I suggest washing your hair everyday is best.
