Depends.
If I got food on the table and am ready to eat, I'd just as soon have a knife handy.
If I got no food on the table and I'm hungary, I'd much prefer to have a gun handy.
I guess you could say it's all about priorities.

A gun.I can shoot animals,get their bones,and make a knife.Plus I can defend against people who try to steal the things I've made from animals I've shot with my gun.
Also you didn't state what kind of gun.So if I got an SKS,which has a folding bayonet,I'd have a gun and a knife.

yes... with a gun you can go in a rob a knife store. you dont want to rob a gun store with a knife.

A knife, much more useful than a gun and less jail time spent if you get caught with it. Plus theres no chance it will 'accidentally' go off and kill someone.
