I know that Mormons can't drink alcohol but I know some who cook with it. When I ask them about it they say that the alcohol cooks out. I happen to know that when cooking with alcohol you can cook most of it out but never all of it. So I am not sure if it is alright to cook with or not. Any Mormons out there have any ideas? I would love some help.

It's a personal choice, but the alcohol is burned off. There are also non-alcoholic wines designed for cooking.

When you use it in cooking all of the alcohol content cook's out so it safe to use the smell sometimes is still there but not the kick.

All the alcohol can be removed by cooking; it evaporates, leaving only the flavor of the wine or liquor.
