We named our three month old Kaiser because its a cool name and it means leader. Everyone has aways liked his name and the only joke we hear is "pass the kaiser roll"
anyways at thanksgiving dinner there was an old lady who when I told her his name she hailed him as in hail hitler. It made me super mad. But her payback was that he started crying everytime she got in his face.
I wore my son the whole night because he likes to see whats going on and also there was no place to safely set him down at our family members house, and it would keep him from crying at all. Towards the end of the night the old lady said "You HAVE to carry him around like that just put him down, he will be fine," like I shouldnt enjoy carrying him. As long as you get a comfy carrier like a moby wrap,it is quite fun.
Anyways do you think of hitler when you hear Kaiser or is the old lady crazy.

Hiya I must be the only sad person who watches Big Brother (American one) cos I associate the name with the guy Kaysar in the show and he is a really good person plus intellectual. What do I think of the name. I think it is great, I also think that the few people who remember this hitler reference are dying or going to die so by the time your boy is old enough to be judged in the world this silly meaning will fade away. Moreover it is what you and your husband think that matters not anyone else and if you've been responsible with naming your child which you have its not anyones business. you can't please all of the people all of the time.

I think Kaiser is really a difficult name for a kid to wear: It was a car and a whole dynasty of bad monarchs, has connections to Hitler, and is the name of a bread roll. I can well see how the lady reacted to the name.

It is unfortunate that kids will do this same thing to him. I think you should look into changing his name.

If you do not want to change his name the call him Kais (Case)

Parents: think twice and three times before hanging a name on a child that he has to carry around for the rest of his life.

The old lady is crazy, she's in love with Hitler. I know a guy in a Year 9 class that's last name is Kaiser, people only call him by that because they think it sounds 'cool'. At least his name isn't something 60% of the teachers will pronounce wrong...

I don't understand the Hitler reference, all I think of is Kaiser roll. Ignore the old bat, opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one and they usually stink. Raise that baby however you see fit!

Kaiser substitute into one in all our dogs names and that i do exactly not like it for a common call, and Elisha is a women call. Eli is a lot greater advantageous or Elijah or Elias Kyle Elias Surname or Kyle Eli sounds greater advantageous
