Well, I really this guy. His name is John. I like him more than I have ever liked ay like guy before, but last year he really liked my friend. I was happy for them, but then he dumped her after like a week. At the start of this year, she was soo mad at him and I was afraid to talk to him because I thought that she would not talk to me again, but I did anyways. Now, they are just friends. But, last Sunday I went to her house for her birthday party and he was there. The only reason that I went was to talk to him.. Ok, so at her party me and him were talking and she came over and sat on him and was trying to hold his hand. I could tell that he was uncomfortable by it. I was so jealous of them. He asked me if she still liked him and I did not want to tell him yes, so I asked him if he liked her, he said that he was not gonna go out with her again.

Bottom line is, I really like him, but I always feel really guilty after I talk to him because she still likes him.

What should I do?

Ok, if he asks you out is not your fault because she already had a hance and she didn't take it. Or if u want to ask him out you should not feel guilty because is not ur fault that they aren't together anymore. If she really is your friend she won't get mad at you if you ask him out. She would be happy for you and won't be mad at you.

I like a guy named John too...this couldn't be the same person COULD IT....

All seriousness, if there's a 'third party' involved you need to be more direct, if you think it's really love. But I would seriously wait and see how you really, really feel before you do something you might regret. There ain't no cure for love, but you have to make sure it's not just infatuation too.

I like a good catfight though, and I think you would win...

sit on his lap... if you feel something in a few seconds, he likes you, if you don't, he doesn't
